Denial of the Fittest

Closed minds so tried and true
Open mouths had laughed at You
Blinded eyes have missed the view
With blocked ears to misconstrue

Instruments, which seem so real
Not tools but weapons they conceal
In the end, only to reveal
The evil disguised by their appeal

Yet one day they’ll be forced to swallow pride
Their own and that of those of which have died
While on earth his wish they’ve once again defied
And the words of The Fittest were denied

A con will cry a false tear
Give words of wisdom insincere
Repel the truth to lies adhere
Watch another’s conscience disappear

Yet one day they’ll be forced to swallow pride
Their own and that of those of which have died
While on earth His will they’ve once again defied
And the words of The Fittest were denied

Open minds have gone astray
Closed mouths never will convey
Unresponsive hearts beat on display
As we watch their souls decay

Yet one day they’ll be forced to swallow pride
Their own and that of those of which have died
While on earth His will they’ve once again defied
And the words of The Fittest were denied
